EMISSION ABATEMENT
In times of increasing pollution and decreasing resources, WK have made it their business to design and build systems as a contribution to a better environment.  The many years of experience of WK's specialised staff guarantee individual solutions to a high technical level, combined with the best ecological and economical concepts.

REGENERATIVE WASTE AIR PURIFICATION (RTO)
The regenerative thermal oxidiser, because of its high thermal efficiency, is often the most cost effective solution, and can achieve auto thermal oxidation of VOC's at concentrations of less than 1.0 g/Nm3.

RECUPERATIVE WASTE AIR PURIFICATION (TNV)
The most widely installed type of oxidation process, ideal for applications with medium to high loadings, offering a long service life and optimum use of the residual energy stored in the waste gas.

CATALYTIC WASTE AIR PURIFICATION (KNV)
Catalytic systems are used in applications with medium to low VOC loadings, and operate at a low temperature level of 250 - 350° C.  Careful choice of the catalyst material provides energy efficient operation in most industry sectors.

CONCENTRATING SYSTEMS (VOC)
Concentrating systems are required when very large waste air volumes have only low loadings, and can be used in combination with WK thermal or catalytic oxidisers to achieve efficient waste air purification.

ENERGY RECOVERY AND HEAT TRANSFER SYSTEMS (EW)
WK systems for steam, hot water, warm water and thermal oil are individually designed for each application, and can be installed independently or in combination with a WK waste air purification system.
