Maximum productivity is
achieved with the Done ReelMaster reel-handling system. It makes
further handling of the reels more efficient and maximizes the
productivity of the slitters.
Done ReelMaster reel-handling system includes several
functions:
Master reels
The system controls the transfer of master reels from the coating
machine either to a warehouse or to the slitters.
Slit reels
When slit reels are unloaded, the system supervises every reel
movement and passes on all information in real time, which simplifies
the handling of the reels and improves ergonomics. The system also
sorts the slit reels, optimizing the use of slitters by integrating
several orders into one slitting workstation and permitting the use of
several slitting procedures. |

Packaging
Packaging can be centralized in one location, where each customer’s
special packaging needs are met smoothly and quickly. The
pre-packaging station prepares the stacks of reels to satisfy
customers’ needs for separation sheets, edge protection and end
boards. The reels are then stretch-wrapped and palletized. Finally,
the pallets are wrapped or strapped together with the pallet cover,
and each finished pallet receives a pallet label.
The economical and safe centralized packing line enables packaging
according to the customers' needs. The slit reels are labelled, and
the integrated information system controls and oversees the whole
process from master reels to slitting and all the way from packing to
dispatch. |
